Dynasty Fantasy Football Glossary

Plain-English definitions of the terms you'll encounter in dynasty fantasy football, Tradyr Value, the Receiver Lab, and the SFB16 tournament.

Dynasty
A fantasy football league format where rosters carry over year to year. Players are kept long-term and rookie drafts each off-season add new talent. The opposite of "redraft" leagues which reset annually.
Superflex (2QB)
A league format with a roster spot that can start a QB, RB, WR, or TE. In practice teams start two QBs, which dramatically inflates QB value compared to standard 1QB leagues.
TEP (Tight End Premium)
A scoring tweak that gives TEs extra points per reception (typically +0.5 PPR for TEs only). Raises TE positional value in dynasty rankings.
KTC (KeepTradeCut)
A dynasty value site that uses a "keep / trade / cut" voting game to derive player values. Heavily community-driven. One of the three sources blended into Tradyr Value.
FantasyCalc (FC)
A dynasty value site that derives values from actual league transactions across thousands of leagues, not voting. One of the three sources blended into Tradyr Value.
DynastyProcess (DP)
A dynasty value site built on an age-curve-heavy model that emphasises long-term value. One of the three sources blended into Tradyr Value.
Tradyr Value (TV)
A 0-1000 composite score that blends KTC + FantasyCalc + DynastyProcess + our internal market value (from 136,000+ real dynasty trades), normalised by position and age-adjusted.
Composite ADP
Average draft position blended across multiple sources (Underdog, Drafters, DraftKings, FFPC, Sleeper Best Ball, SFB-live). Smooths source-specific bias.
YPRR (Yards Per Route Run)
Receiving yards divided by routes run — the receiver efficiency metric. Filters out players who just got more snaps from players who actually produced on every route.
WOPR (Weighted Opportunity Rating)
A combined target share + air yards share metric. Measures both volume and depth of usage; a high WOPR means a team is funnelling targets to that receiver.
Route Score
Tradyr's proprietary 100-point composite grade for receivers, combining opportunity (40%), efficiency (30%), separation (20%), and consistency (10%). Surfaced in the Receiver Lab.
Win Window
A dynasty team's competitive horizon, classified as Contender, Bubble, Reset, or Rebuild. Drives strategy: contenders should accumulate now-value, rebuilders should accumulate young assets + picks.
PAR (Positional Allocation Rating)
Sum of a team's positive starter-value deltas vs the league median at each position. High PAR = you're ahead at multiple positions; combined with Win Window it tells you whether to stack for now or sell.
Roster Spot Premium
A trade-calc concept that values the consolidating side of a multi-piece deal. A $1 bill is worth more than 4 quarters because it occupies less roster real estate. Tradyr credits the side with fewer pieces by 75 points per slot freed.
SFB16 (Scott Fish Bowl 16)
The largest charity fantasy football tournament in the world. Thousands of 12-team Sleeper best-ball leagues using identical SFB scoring (TE premium, big-play bonuses, position-specific multipliers). Tradyr's SFB tools cover live ADP, projections, mock drafts, and war-room assistance.
Market Pulse
A live feed of recent dynasty trades aggregated from real Sleeper leagues. Searchable by player to see comparable trades from the past 30 days.
