What is the best free dynasty fantasy football trade calculator?

Tradyr's Trade Calculator is free and blends KTC + FantasyCalc + DynastyProcess + a market value computed from 136,000+ real dynasty trades. It supports full draft-pick valuation and a roster-spot premium toggle that prices the "$1 bill beats 4 quarters" consolidation effect. No signup required.

How does Tradyr calculate dynasty player values?

Each player gets a composite "Tradyr Value" (TV) on a 0-1000 scale. The composite is a confidence-weighted blend of KeepTradeCut, FantasyCalc, and DynastyProcess values, normalised by position and then age-adjusted with a position-specific decay curve. Finally, the composite is anchored to our market value (from real Sleeper trade data) with a recency weight.

Does Tradyr work with Sleeper leagues?

Yes — Sleeper is the primary supported platform. Paste your league ID at sleeper.tradyr.app to get instant analysis: ranked teams, positional needs, trade ideas, and roster grades. The /tradyr Discord bot also exposes Sleeper-specific commands like /tradyr who-needs.

What about MFL, ESPN, Yahoo, or Fleaflicker?

All four are supported. Tradyr auto-detects the platform from your league URL. ESPN and Yahoo require OAuth (one-time browser auth, no password sharing). MFL and Fleaflicker work with just a league ID.

How often is the data updated?

Rankings refresh daily at 5am UTC. Market value (from real trade data) refreshes every 6 hours. Live SFB16 ADP refreshes every 15 minutes during draft season. Sleeper league rosters are pulled fresh on every page load.

What is a "positional need" or "surplus" in dynasty?

A positional need means your starters at that position rank in the bottom third of your league by total TV. A surplus means top third. Tradyr flags both on every team's page so you can find natural trade partners — your need + their surplus + opposite at another position = the win-win deal.

How does Tradyr score draft picks?

Future picks are valued using historical pick-cost-to-player-value curves. Round, year-out, and rookie class strength all factor in. 2026 1.01s in a strong class will price higher than 2027 1.01s in a weaker class. You can see pick values directly in the Trade Calculator.

What is SFB16?

Scott Fish Bowl 16 — the largest charity fantasy football tournament in the world, with thousands of 12-team Sleeper best-ball leagues all using identical SFB-specific scoring (TE premium, big-play bonuses, position-specific multipliers). Can I use Tradyr without a Sleeper account?

Yes. The trade calculator, dynasty rankings, market pulse, receiver lab, and player profiles all work without any account or league connection. Connect a league when you want personalised analysis.

Is there an API?

How is Tradyr different from KeepTradeCut, FantasyCalc, or DynastyProcess?

Those three sites publish their own dynasty values; Tradyr combines all three plus actual trade-comp data into a single composite, then layers in league-specific analysis (positional needs, trade ideas, win windows). KTC/FC/DP each have a single perspective; Tradyr gives you all of them at once plus market reality.

What is the Tradyr Receiver Lab?

A receivers-only analytics surface with advanced metrics: yards per route run (YPRR), weighted opportunity rating (WOPR), separation, route score (a 100-point grade), and depth profile by target distance. These are signals the broader fantasy ecosystem doesn't surface, which is where Tradyr finds buy-low and sell-high candidates the consensus market hasn't priced yet.
